I sold my first novel. Not really. I sold my first novel a couple years ago, only to have the publisher back out. So this is my second novel, but the first to be (hopefully) published. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop on this one while remaining cautiously optimistic. Summaries are a special hell for me, but I'll try. Chaos Magic is urban fantasy BDSM. In English, that means the story takes place in current time in a real city, but Gods live among us. The BDSM part is self-explanatory. When I was first thinking about this novel I was reading a lot of Buddhist philosophy. One of the things that caught my imagination was the idea that godhood was simply another state of being like hungry ghosts, humans and animals. Gods who don't live forever make more sense to me, as do gods who live in a symbiotic relationship with humans. If everything goes as planned, I'll post updates on the novel.
