And, We're Off and Running

I got the first round edits on Personal Demons today. Yay! And doh! It's amazing how much your eye glosses over. No matter how many times you read it, you see what you think you wrote, not what's actually there. So it's crazy days at work, and trying to get this turned around in six days. Oy. Luckily for me, I have the hovel to myself tomorrow night. Now if only I can convince the cats that I'm not their personal heat rock... (just try to ignore them. after a few polite meows, they sink their claws into my ass if I don't pick them up.) The other thing about reading through the story again is revisiting all the details. While there's tons of hot sex, there's also heartbreak. It's hard watching the guys fight, even when I'm the one who made them do it.
